Clarify the audience, message and practical constraint

An eight-month teaching chapter that helped more than 150 learners build confidence in visual communication.
Problem-solving case study
Design was not the starting point.
The problem was.
A mixed-experience classroom required clarity without oversimplification and a route from basics to presentable work.
My role in solving it.
I taught principles, led software exercises, reviewed revisions and helped learners connect craft decisions to communication goals.
The thinking behind
the solution.
Each step answered a specific communication or production constraint. The goal was a system that could keep working beyond one polished frame.
Build a visual idea strong enough to work across formats
Test hierarchy and composition in real-use conditions
Refine the system through feedback and production detail
Built as a system,
not a one-off.
The final outputs were connected by one design logic, so the idea could stay clear while moving across formats, audiences and production needs.
What the solution achieved
A clearer, more consistent body of work that solved the communication need and remained practical to deliver at scale.
